A wide variety of pumpkins will be available Saturday, Sept. 30 at Bethel Assembly’s The Patch fundraiser at Bank Park.

Organizer Christina Daugherty said seven pallets of pumpkins have been ordered.

“We will have Fairytale pumpkins, Cinderella, Ghost White, and a specialty mix like Fancy Jacks,” she said.

The event raises funds to be used for community outreach programs.

Pumpkin sales begin at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until all are sold.

The day will include a number of activities for children and families. Among the list are free family photos, face painting, train rides, a petting zoo, corn hole, and pumpkin tic-tac-toe.

At 11:00 a.m., a decorated pumpkin parade for all ages will be held. Participants are asked to arrive by 10:30 a.m.

In addition, a barbecue meal will be available to help raise money for the Monte Lewis Scholarship Fund.

Bunco Night

Bethel Assembly is inviting local women to a Ladies Fellowship Night 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 at The Feed Store.

Admission is free with sweet and savory snacks provided. In addition to playing Bunco, attendees will receive encouragement for the upcoming fall season.
