TERRY HISE

Terry Wayne Hise of Ingram, TX passed away March 30, 2023 in Kerr­ville, TX after a brief illness.

Terry was born Sept. 25, 1954 to V.E. and Ida Hise.  He graduated from Albany High School in 1973 and attended UTA. He worked for JC Penney in Irving as a mechanic, then for Western Auto.

He married Beverly Nappier in 1976. They moved to Kerrville to work for an older brother at Scenic Valley Sales as a boat mechanic in 1983. In 1993 he opened his business, Terry’s Auto, in Kerrville where he built a very respectable business in auto repair and total restoration for most autos old and new. His favorites were Chevy Camaros. Terry loved his work and his work family.

He  was preceded in death by his parents, V.E. Hise and Ida Hise.

Survivors include a daughter born Sept. 5, 1980, Tara Lynne, who was his pride and joy; four grandchildren, Adrian, ­Sierra, Isaac, and Emily; one great-granddaughter, Raelyn; three brothers, Gary Hise (Linda) of Kerr­ville, Ellis Hise (Myra) of Albany, Jim Hise of Weatherford; and one sister, Jana McCoy (Randy) of Albany.
