Albany students and staff members will be dismissed starting at 3:00 p.m. next Tuesday for the Thanksgiving holidays.

The First Baptist Church of Albany youth group will hold a Christmas bake sale to raise funds for summer camps.

The sale will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Bank Park.

All proceeds go to the FBC youth group for church camp in the summer of 2024.

There will be no set prices. Instead, donations will be accepted for all items.

Trinity McBee of Albany High School and Neveah Huskey, a student at Moran High School, have been selected by the Albany Lions Club to serve as Club Sweethearts for this school year. McBee made her first official appearance on Oct.
